It is RICK'S Birthday!!!

Today is Rick's birthday.  He volunteers at Living Water practically every day.  I am so glad that he is willing to be here and put so much time in with our Food Program.  

Rick usually hides when I bring out the camera so I have to be sneaky when I am trying to get a good shot.  This is what I usually get:

Happy Birthday, my good friend!!!  I appreciate everything you do at Living Water...you are so much fun to hang out with and you make the best 5:30 a.m. coffee ever!!!! I just won't ever be here that early to have a cup with yall....LOLOL...BTW...you are very old! :0)

It's a New Year

Well I guess everyone could say it is about time you guys updated the blog...LOL.  I apologize, but couldn't figure out why I wasn't able to log in.  Now that all that is figured out and I felt really dumb, I can get this caught up.

We had a great 2013, which was my first year as Executive Director.  I love this position, and I love coming in to work each day.  Being a leader isn't always easy, but I am so glad I am never on my own.  The Lord has His hand covering this place as He continuously provides for every need we have here.  This is  what happened in 2013:

So you can see that a lot of people have come through our doors!  I love that we can build relationships with our clients and truly meet them wherever they are "in life" and let them know that there is hope for them in Christ.

The first great news of 2014 is that we have a new Administrative Assistant.  This is Hayley Lowery.  She is a college student attending WTAMU.  She has a heart for missions and serves in several ministries at Fellowship Baptist Church.  She also recently became engaged to Nathan Schraeder.  Yes, I can post a pic of the ring!!!  

I am very excited about all the things God is going to do this year at Living Water.  We have so many wonderful opportunities to share the love of Christ with our clients.  Would you pray for us?
